Elan, a licensed psychologist in both the U.S. and Israel, received his PhD in clinical psychology from Fordham University. For his dissertation, he investigated the psychological variables and therapeutic interventions and techniques most related to change in sexual orientation. He serves on the Scientific Advisory Board of NARTH. He currently lives in Jerusalem with his wife and family and is seeing private clients under the supervision of Dr. Nicolosi Jr.

Elan Karten, PhD

Shlomo-Zalman (Adam) Jessel holds a BSc degree in Psychology and an MA in Clinical-Developmental psychology, and is fully trained in EMDR (Level II). A founding member of the Jerusalem Therapy Institute (http://jnti.net/), he works with individuals and families in Israel and abroad, often via telephone or Skype. He has published in medical and scientific journals on a wide array of subjects, and guest lectures to therapists and educators several times per year. Shlomo's current emphasis is on men dealing with pornography, sex-related addictions, and trauma, particularly therapy for men with same-gender attraction, and spouses and parents dealing with this issue through a loved one. He is a member of the SSA supervisory group headed by Joseph Nicolosi Jr., PhD.

Shlomo Zalman (Adam) Jessel, MA

Jonathan is trained in helping people overcome deep-rooted emotional issues related to gender wholeness and identity. For many, this can create unwanted same-sex attractions, lack of confidence, co-dependency, and other challenges related to creating relationships with others. He has extensive training in healing these conflicts. He has staffed many experiential healing weekends, lead psychodrama, and is learning effective psychodynamic techniques that enable a person to discover and uproot the underlying core issues and replace them with something more fulfilling. He has a Bachelors education in Psychology, is currently undergoing his Masters in Social Work training, and is a Certified Life Coach.
